About The Event

Our guest chef, Petra, will be performing a Zoom demonstration of how to cook Cabbage Potpourri on

August 26 at 6:00 PM!

Ingredients (Serves 2-3)

  • 1 pack of hot Italian sausage
  • 2 packs of coleslaw (substitute with white shredded cabbage if preferred)
  • Caraway seeds
  • Peeled potatoes for the side dish (use however many potatoes you would like)

Chef’s Notes

  • The idea for this dish came from a German dish called Stuffed Cabbage
  • This dish is a simplified version that still has the same flavor experience as the original dish, but is simpler and easier to make
  • The recipe calls for hot Italian sausage, but less spicy sausage or meat-free substitutes can be used instead
  • This dish features Caraway seeds, which are often used in German cooking to flavor a variety of foods ranging from bread to meat
