Chef’s Notes
- Aloo Paratha are flatbreads that are easy to make with whole wheat flour, boiled potatoes, spices, and herbs
- Many people eat this dish with pickles, yogurt, and as a breakfast meal
- The dish originated in the Indian Subcontinent and is a product of the New World. Portuguese traders brought potatoes and chilies to the region
- Some variations are stuffed with vegetables, cheese, and meat, but others are enjoyed plain
