About The Event

NAU Sociology Department, Native Americans for Community Action, the 4thWorld Foundation, and Culture Connection AZ will co-host a discussion forum “Indigenous-led Conversation on Community”.

Room 115, SBS West

You are invited to a discussion forum about indigenous-led approaches of regeneration, decolonization, and empowerment in communities across Northern Arizona. The follow-up session is scheduled on April 5th at 3pm -5pm, Room 115, SBS west. This two-day discussion forum will be led by Somana Tootsie, Executive Director and Founder of a community organization the 4th World Foundation. The main aim of the forum is to facilitate engagement in community-based/led research and activities for equity. Food will be served and shared!
